I repainted the field in this painting. The first time it was just a field with a few flowers. I felt that it needed more. After setting it aside for a few months, I went back into it and repainted the field adding many more flowers which gives a visual path leading into the painting. The scene was around Taos, NM. One of my favorite places to paint.
