I am very pleased to offer these workshops through the power of the Internet. This is how my online painting workshops work…. 

1. You will paint during the week.

For starters, please try to paint at least two paintings each week that you will email to me. I will guide you with feedback, suggestions (and assignments if needed).

2. Email images to me by 7:00 pm every Sunday evening.

Email photos of up to three (3) of your paintings, along with photos of the actual figure, landscape, or still life setup you are working from (if possible).

Note: You can email your images to me at any time during the week, but please no later than 7:00 pm Pacific Time on Sunday. This will give me adequate time to review your images, and possibly illustrate some of the issues raised in my critique of your work via your Monday conference.

You may also email any questions or topics you’d like to discuss over the phone, or online in a blog or emails. If you need some guidance or questions answered during the week, feel free to email me.

3. I will annotate and email the images back to you that we will view and discuss over the phone during the conference.

4. Call me, or join the telephone/online Q and A /critique at your scheduled time on Monday — we will talk while viewing the annotated images of your studies.

SPECIAL FEATURES OF ONLINE WORKSHOPS

Pick your time slot for our 10-15 minute phone conversation on Mondays. I will email you a schedule for you to pick your first and second choices.

You will receive links from me for handouts to print out for the class.

You will also receive links to my complete demos with explanations and photos of the scene or set up, painting in progress and completion. I will email the photos for you to keep.
